| Customer Reviews: Umbrella Stroller - July 20, 2010 Melanie Jane Wattles (Austin, TX, US) We bought the Inglesina Swift Stroller as our travel stroller for a recent trip to the UK and Portugal. We took several flights and the stroller held up really well.It is lightweight and portable. My 11 month old seems very comfortable sitting in it and does fall asleep when it is reclines.I have also fed him many a meal sitting in the stroller. The stroller can be collapsed and opened with one hand which was important to me when traveling alone with my child.
I would recommend this stroller.
Perfect for our little one July 19, 2010 Sarah Bennitt (Los Angeles, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this for my 8 month old for our long distance summer vacation & it worked great. It's very light weight, easy to open & fold, & was sturdy on all sorts of surfaces. The only small drawbacks, no viewing window from behind (I have to stop & peek around the corners to see if he's awake) & no shoulder strap for carrying (just a small handle). I would definitely recommend it. I picked it instead of the comparably priced Maclaren b/c it has a reclining seat back & I'm glad I did. It may not be the fancy name but the recline is really nice, especially for the young tots.
perfect stroller at a reasonable price. May 5, 2010 Shashank Nigam (VA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It was a no brainer to me when I first looked at this stroller in the store. It is very similar to the Mclaren but half the price. I would agree mostly to the previous review.
a few more pros:
3 adjustable angle of inclinations.
very good maneuverability
cons:
hard to carry it after folding. No hook to prevent unfolding.
As good as McLaren February 5, 2010 Amy 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is the perfect light stroller for the city without spending over $200 on a third stroller.
PROS:
-The shoulder straps are removable so you do not need to use the 5-point harness for grownups.
-You can put a bag underneath instead of hanging on the back and tipping it over.
-The handle height is higher than other comparable models so you are less hunched over. (Great for tall parents).
-You can walk a good pace without kicking the stroller.
-Easy to fold & compact for the subway, transfer, go up and down the stairs.
-The swiveling front wheels are individually lockable and are larger than other light strollers so it is easier to push over rugged terrain.
CONS:
-No cup holder.
-The basket underneath can only hold a small diaper bag.
